Inside Fashion Fight Night

These looks were anything but below the belt. This February, Fashion Fight Night returned with a fresh, flower-fueled twist as Sip N Bloom and stylist Amy Seeman revived the iconic event after nearly two decades. Hosted inside a transformed boxing ring at Machine Shop, the sold-out show brought Minnesota’s top stylists into head-to-head fashion battles, live on stage, in front of a roaring audience of over 300.

The evening was a spectacular display of creativity, collaboration, and couture, with each round pushing stylists to design full runway-ready looks using sponsored racks by the Twin Cities’ premier retailers, including MartinPatrick 3, who proudly sponsored the evening’s boxing ring.

Co-producer Amy Seeman shared, “This city is bursting with styling talent, so I was all in on the opportunity to bring together creatives at different stages in their journey to shine a light on the depth and range we have here. Watching them interpret pieces, trust their instincts, and bring their own energy to each look was incredible.”

After an intense final round alongside the immensely talented Emma Enebak and Bri Johnson, Chanelle Whipner emerged victorious, earning the title of Fashion Fight Night Champion 2025. Lucky for us, Chanelle now works at MP3 as a savvy stylist, bringing her fighting, fashionable spirit to our clientele.

Chanelle Whipner’s winning look was an electrifying mashup of chic streetwear and couture—a fearless statement that redefined modern fashion in the boxing ring. Her model strutted the final runway wearing a structured, cropped vinyl utility vest, paired with distressed high-waisted denim cutoffs that gave a nod to American workwear with a rebellious edge.

While the stylists’ looks packed the biggest punch of the evening, the champion-worthy fits extended far beyond the ring. The audience and judges embraced boxing-inspired style, locked into every stylist’s selection. Seeman shared that, “What truly blew me away was how locked in the audience was the entire time. There’s clearly a hunger to understand the ‘why’ behind a look and witness the creative process in real time. It reminded me that styling isn’t just about clothes; it’s about storytelling, confidence, and connection.”

David Kisan, Founder of Sip N Bloom, remembers the night fondly, sharing, “Fashion Fight Night was everything I dreamed it could be—bold, high energy, and wildly creative. To watch these designers push themselves in front of a live crowd and celebrate fashion as a form of art and expression was something I’ll never forget. Chanelle, Emma, and Bri brought the heat, and seeing Chanelle take the win was a beautiful full-circle moment. The energy in the room reminded me why we do this—to uplift artists, bring people together, and create a little magic while we’re at it.”
